What we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- your name and email address
- a securely hashed password, or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google
- your progress through challenges, and the code you submit for grading
We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, who processes card information directly.
Why we collect it
We use your information to give you access to the platform, save your progress, grade your submissions, and contact you about your account or purchase. We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services needed to run the platform:
- our database and hosting providers, to store your account and progress
- our code execution provider, which runs your submitted code to grade it
- our payment provider, to process purchases
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping your data
We keep your account information while your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information and progress. We may retain purchase records where required for tax and legal purposes.
Your choices
You can delete your account at any time from your account page, which removes your data as described above. You can also email us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion.
Security
We use encrypted connections and store passwords in hashed form. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
