1. Who we are
The Trading Library ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and the educational content available through it. You can contact us at support@ttlibrary.com.
2. What we provide
The Trading Library is an educational platform. We provide written lessons and coding challenges covering programming, quantitative methods, and macroeconomics. Access is delivered online. The first 15 challenges are free; full access requires a one-off payment.
3. This is not financial advice
Everything on this platform is general educational information only. It is not financial product advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial product. Nothing we publish takes into account your objectives, financial situation, or needs.
Trading and investing involve risk, including the risk of losing capital. Any strategy, model, calculation, or worked example in our content is provided to teach a technique, not to suggest it will be profitable. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Before making any financial decision, consider obtaining advice from a licensed financial adviser.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Access is personal to you. You may not share, resell, or transfer your account.
5. Payment and access
Full access is a one-off payment of USD $149.99. Prices are shown in US dollars. Any GST, VAT or sales tax that applies to your purchase is shown at checkout. Once payment is confirmed, you receive access to all current content and any content we add to the platform later.
We may change the price for new customers at any time. Changes do not affect access you have already purchased.
6. Refunds
We don't offer refunds for change of mind. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply (see clause 10). Our Refund Policy forms part of these terms.
7. Our content belongs to us
All lessons, challenges, code, and materials on the platform are our intellectual property. When you purchase access, you receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the content for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, distribute, resell, or share the content, in whole or in part, including by posting it publicly or providing it to others.
Code you write while using the platform is yours.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts
- submit code intended to damage, overload, or compromise our systems
- scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract our content
- share your account access with anyone else
We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms. Where we do so without cause, we will refund a fair portion of what you paid.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the platform available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, and we may change or remove content over time.
10. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
11. Limits on our liability
To the extent permitted by law and subject to clause 10, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions you make based on our content, including trading or investment losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
